Couple months ago, we informed you on our new offer of coffee subscription and book. We follow our initial idea to open our web platform to small, non-established publishing houses, so today we present cooperation with the association Domino.
Domino, in addition to its various activities, also publishes books with more than 30 book titles within the offer. The book The Bad Girls (Las Malas) that we present here is a book by an Argentinian trans writer Camila Sose Villade. It is the story of a 19-year-old trans woman who moves to a big city and joins a group of trans sex workers. This award-winning novel is both fairytale and scary - it offers an intimate group portrait and an explosive manifesto of a transgender society. It brings together two trans people who reject and terrify petty bourgeois society: trans-anger and trans-fun. As a writer, Camila Sosa Villada explores gender identity and deals with issues of the perspective of sexuality and its importance in today's global world .
We won’t reveal too much to you about this book but we hope you'll enjoy reading it. Feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions for collaborating with small publishing houses, and in the meantime enjoy the books we offer. For all information about the current "book and coffee library", look through 3 months and 12 months coffee subscription.
In our coffee shop you can also look through the picture books from the photo below, which were translated and edited by the Domino association. Enjoy books and coffee! ☕️
